In line with the provisions of the regulations on the protection of personal data, Glickon S.p.A., as the data controller (‘Glickon’ or ‘Owner‘), by means of this document provides the necessary information regarding the processing of personal data carried out by means of the cookies installed on this website (‘Site’).
For any clarification on the processing of personal data that is the subject of this information, it is possible to contact the Data Controller in the ways indicated below.
1. What are Cookies
Cookies are small text strings that websites visited by the user send to the computer and to any device used to access the Internet (as smartphones and tablets), where they are stored and then transmitted to the same sites the next time the same user visits.
Cookies can be stored permanently and have a variable duration (so-called persistent cookies), but can also disappear when the browser is closed or have a limited duration (so-called session cookies). 2. Types of Cookies
2.1 Technical Cookies
Technical cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the Site, to provide the user with a smooth navigation without slowing down (e.g. to allow access to restricted areas for as long as the user is on the Site) and to correctly provide all the services available on the Site.

2.2 Functional Cookies
These cookies are used solely to improve and speed up navigation on the Site, by memorising certain choices made by the user (e.g. preferences relating to language or maintaining authentication for the duration of the navigation session, or the use of multimedia content on the Site). Since these cookies are used to respond to requests made directly by the user, they can be installed without the need to obtain the user’s consent.
However, we point out that in some limited cases, such as when the duration of the cookie exceeds that of the browsing session, the user may be asked to activate the cookie in a specific way, for example by selecting a ‘flag’, so that the choice can be stored for a subsequent visit to the Site by the user (eg. the feature that allows you to keep the log-in even after closing the site).

2.3 Analytical Cookies
The Site uses analytics cookies, both first and third party, some of which can be installed only with the specific consent of the user. Through this specific type of cookie, information is collected on users’ interactions with the Site and on the characteristics and methods of use of the same (e.g. number of visitors, pages visited, time spent and conversions). This information is then used, in particular, to improve the functionality of the Site itself, allowing, for example, to record any errors detected by users and thus ensure a smoother and more immediate navigation. Collecting only data in aggregate form, so as not to make users identifiable in any way, these cookies are treated as technical ones. 2.4 Profiling Cookies
Profiling cookies are those aimed at acquiring information relating to the behaviour of users while browsing the Website, for advertising and marketing purposes, so as to allow the detection and prediction of the tastes, interests, preferences and habits of each individual concerned. This category may also include cookies belonging to other types, such as analytical cookies, where they are suitable for providing information on the online behaviour of users. Consequently, the installation of these cookies is subject to the prior acquisition of the user’s consent.
Profiling cookies are used by the Owner or by third parties, including social networks, to send users more engaging and targeted advertisements, based on the preferences expressed by the latter during their navigation, as well as to create profiles related to their presumed interests.
Other tracking technologies offered by social networks (e.g. LinkedIn) are also installed on the Site, aimed at collecting useful information about users, such as custom audience services, personalized advertisements and technologies for detecting interactions between social platforms and the Site, as well as other tools that allow to retrieve information relating to the navigation of users (e.g. pixels or fingerprints).
Confirmation of deactivation at the time of access to the Site, or revocation of consent via the control panel, to the use of one or more profiling cookies (including those installed by social networks), will not interfere in any way with the possibility of accessing or browsing the Site.

3. Management of Cookies
When accessing any page of the Site, the user will be shown a banner containing brief information regarding the way in which Glickon manages cookies, as well as the choices the user can make, and can obtain further information by consulting this extended information notice. Before continuing with navigation, the user is asked to indicate his or her preferences regarding the installation of optional cookies on his or her browser, i.e. not strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the Site and for correct navigation by the interested party, by giving or withholding his or her consent to their use. To this end, the user has the possibility to allow the installation in bulk, by clicking on the ‘ACCEPT ALL COOKIES’ button, or to refuse it, by selecting ‘REFUSE ALL COOKIES’ inside the banner. Alternatively, you can make a more granular choice, selecting each specific type of cookie to be installed, by clicking on the ‘COOKIES PREFERENCES’ button. It should be noted that, in line with the requirements dictated by the Guarantor Authority for the protection of personal data in the appropriate ‘Guidelines for cookies and other tracking tools’ adopted June 10, 2021“, the switch command to enable or disable analytical and profiling cookies is programmed by default on the mode ‘disabled’.

4. How to disable Cookies from your browser
As already stated, the user can revoke at any time his consent to the installation of analytical and profiling cookies, also thanks to the special panel accessible, as well as from the initial banner, from the button in the bottom left corner of the Site.

Further ways to prevent the installation of cookies on the user’s terminal consist in the possibility of: i) refusing third party by-default cookies, using the specific functions made available by some browsers; ii) activating the ‘Do Not Track‘ option (automatic interruption of the collection of some navigation data) available in most of the latest generation browsers; iii) activating the ‘anonymous navigation’ mode.

5. The rights of the users
The user may at any time exercise the rights recognized to him/her by the current legislation on the protection of personal data, by asking Glickon:
- access: in order to obtain confirmation of the processing of data concerning him/her and further information on the related procedures, as well as receiving a copy of such data;
- rectification: to obtain the correction or integration of their data in the possession of the owner, if inaccurate or incomplete;
- cancellation: to obtain the deletion of your data by Glickon, when: (i) the same are no longer necessary with respect to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed; or (ii) the user revokes his or her consent to the processing (with reference to analytical and profiling cookies); or (iii) personal data have been processed unlawfully; or (iv) personal data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation to which the Data Controller is subject;
- restriction: to obtain a temporary blocking of data processing by the Data Controller, subject to rare exceptions, when: (i) the data subject disputes the accuracy of his or her data, for the period necessary for Glickon to perform the necessary verifications; (ii) the processing is unlawful and the user objects to the deletion of his or her data, requesting instead that its use be restricted; (iii) the Data Controller no longer needs the data for processing purposes, but the data is necessary for the user to ascertain, exercise or defend a right of his or her own in a court of law;
- portability: to receive your data, or have it transmitted to another Data Controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
In addition, the user can always revoke the consents provided, without affecting in any way the lawfulness of the treatments carried out until that moment.
Finally, the interested party has the right to lodge a complaint at any time with the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data, also using the appropriate form made available by the latter.
